L O N D O N S C U L P T U R E P R I Z E 2 0 2 5

I’m honoured to have been awarded the Jeanette Jackson Sculpture Prize for my work ‘Gravity and Flight’ at the London Sculpture Prize 2025 exhibition, Gunnersbury Park Museum, London. The exhibition ran from 25th -28th November and showcased the work of 34 international sculptors selected by a panel of 8 judges from the UK, USA, Germany, Indonesia, Chile and Denmark. I am extremely grateful to have received this award and would like to thank the judges and Isabel Langtry, the founder of the London Sculpture Prize for enabling such a wonderful exhibition and opportunity!

Learn the basics of throwing a cup and bowl on the potter's wheel with expert guidance from Jo LOCATION: Twisting Studios, Sunnybank Mills, Leeds, LS28 5UJ

This fun session offers a throwing taster on the potter's wheel. People with any level of experience are welcome including absolute beginners! Learn how to prepare and centre clay before shaping it into a cup or bowl. You will be able to choose one of your creations at the end of the session to be fired and glazed with a clear gloss glaze and your pot will be ready to collect 3-4 weeks after the session.

P L A S T E R B A S I C S - MAKE A PLASTER MOULD FOR SLIP CASTING CERAMICS Sat 21st / Sun 22nd March 2026 2 day course

Learn how to make a small bowl or cup plaster model, a drop out mould for slip casting ceramics and a plaster batt. This class is suitable for all levels of experience including beginners and all work can be taken away at the end of the course. More information coming soon.
